Nvidia’s RTX 6090 could arrive as early as Q1 2027

According to a report from Red Gaming Tech, Nvidia is already preparing its launch plans for the next-generation RTX 60 series graphics cards. According to the report, Nvidia planned to launch their next-generation flagship, the RTX 6090, in Q1 2027. However, given reports of delays to Nvidia’s RTX 50 SUPER series, it is possible that Nvidia’s RTX 60 series may also face delays.

Red Gaming Tech claims that Nvidia will announce its RTX 60 series GPUs in Q1 2027. However, if Nvidia’s RTX 50 SUPER series launches in Q3 2026, as currently expected, Nvidia may be forced to delay its next-generation GPU launch.

Ultimately, the launch of Nvidia’s RTX 60 series may be dictated by external factors. If the RTX 50 SUPER series launch is delayed, Nvidia may postpone its 60 series launch to create a larger gap between the two. 

Ultimately, it’s too soon to tell when Nvidia will release its RTX 6090. Typically, Nvidia releases a new gaming GPU architecture every two-ish years. This makes a Q1 2027 release seem likely. That said, it’s far too soon to know what Nvidia’s plans will be. Everything is subject to change, and release timelines can change rapidly.
